What You Will Learn
- Preparation: How to properly prepare a piece of furniture for upcycling.
- Assessment: Guidance on assessing the appropriate level of upcycling for your particular piece.
- Sanding: Understanding the various grades of sandpaper, sanding techniques, and using scrapers.
- Repairs: How to fill imperfections and scratches in the wood.
- Painting:
- Choosing the right type of paint.
- Proper brush and roller techniques.
- When and how to apply multiple coats.
- Colour Techniques: Blending colours and the ‘Ombre’ technique.
- Embellishments: Applying transfers, decoupage, and stencilling.
- Hardware: Cleaning, polishing, and changing hardware such as hinges and doorknobs. Learn how to upcycle wooden doorknobs into colourful, economical additions.

Cost: €130 (includes all materials, lunch, coffee, and pastries)

Join us for a full-day workshop where you’ll dive deep into the world of bespoke furniture. The session runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, with a break for lunch. You’ll leave with a beautiful piece of upcycled furniture and the skills to upcycle other pieces.
